Receipt Printing

Use this hardware app to integrate your cash drawer with your tickets to print receipts.

Point of Sale Set up

1. Log in to SalonBiz Central, go to Admin, and then to Locations. Select the location where you want to setup existing hardware.
2. Scroll down the page and look for “Use Local POS Hardware Client”. Click the “Download Now” button here to download the application. This will install an application call QZ Tray that is used for printing.
3. Once downloaded, run and install the application by hitting next, and installing in the default Destination Folder:
   • After the application is installed, you will see a QZ Tray Icon in the system tray. Close your browser, re-open it and log back into SalonBiz Central to continue the setup.
4. In SalonBiz Central, Select the workstation at the top of the screen. 
5. Click the Pencil Icon next to receipt to select the receipt printer to use. Select the pencil next to Receipt Copies to set the number of receipts to print.
   • Receipt printer installation is complete.
