Online Booking can be added to your Facebook page. It is the easiest way to make the most of your business online.
Book Now
Follow these steps to link a Book Now button to your online booking page on your website.
- From your company Facebook page, click the Add a Button button.
- Select Book with you and check Book Now and then click the Next button.
- Click the Link to Website option and enter the url to your online booking page and then click the Save button.
- You’ll have the option to verify your settings, then click the Finish button.
If your Facebook page has 2,000 followers or more you can also add your Online Booking page as custom tab inside of your company page.
Online Booking Theme
You can create an additional theme specifically for Facebook. By default all of the themes have a black background color and you may want to change it to white since most Facebook pages have a white background.
- From the Central Admin menu, go to Online Booking and then click Theme Builder.
- Click the New Theme button and then enter a name for your theme.
- Click on the color boxes to customize the display of your Online Booking screen.
- Click the Background color box and move the color selector to white.
- Click off the color box to see the change, the Theme Builder screen will mimic what you will see in the Online Booking screen.
- Click the Save Theme button to save the theme you created.
- Once your theme is saved, you will see it listed on the themes page. You can access it at any time to make edits.
- To obtain the code to use for your Facebook click the Embed HTML link. Then, copy the entire text and paste it into the app page on your Facebook Timeline.
Facebook Page
- Login to Facebook (must be your personal account that is linked to your business page).
- Open a new tab and copy and paste this link into the address bar: http://apps.facebook.com/static_html_plus/
- Click the Add Static HTML to a Page button.
- Select the page to add the Static HTML iframe tab to.
- Click the Add Page Tab button.
Inserting the Code
- Paste the HTML code from your Online Booking Theme Builder into the window.
- Click the save changes button.
- Click the Preview button to verify the code.
Book Button
- From your Business Facebook page, click Settings and then click Templates and Tabs.
- You’ll see the recently added iframe app. Click Settings.
- From the Profile settings, you can edit the tab name. Click the Okay button when you are finished.
- You can also reorder the position of the tabs so that your booking app is in a prominent place. We recommend that you reorder the app positions so that your Online Booking app appears on the top.
- Click the Save button.
